HIBBING — Officers of the Hibbing Police Department recently responded to the following incidents among others:

• Arrested a male for arson around 9:55 p.m. Wednesday at 301 E. 18th St. Christopher L. Winkelblack, 48, of Hibbing, was taken into custody and was being held in the Hibbing jail. According to officers, he is expected to be charged with felony second degree arson, misdemeanor trespassing and misdemeanor fire alarm. He was also cited for disorderly conduct.

• Took a male into custody on a warrant around 6:55 p.m. Wednesday at 1916 Fourth Ave. E. Christian B. Sanborn was being held in the Hibbing jail on a St. Louis County warrant. He was also cited for disorderly conduct.

• Arrested a male for drug possession around 5:45 p.m. Wednesday at Highway 169 and Howard Street. Shawn S. Dobis was taken into custody and was being held in the Hibbing jail. According to officers, he is expected to be charged with gross misdemeanor fifth degree possession of methamphetamine and gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation/inimical to public safety. A female was also taken into custody on a warrant. Chantelle R. Taylor, 31, was being held in the Hibbing jail on warrants in St. Louis and Ramsey counties.

• Cited a male for dog at large around 12:20 p.m. Wednesday at 3300 Third Ave. W. Todd M. Kintner, 56, of Hibbing, was cited.
