May 16

Skylar James Smith, of Brainerd, has been convicted of an out-of-state charge of theft. He was sentenced to the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud for one year and one day, with a stay of three years.

Smith was also convicted of an out-of-state charge of fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle. He was sentenced to the facility in St. Cloud for one year and one day, with a stay of three years.

Chevy Christopher Faitel, of Hibbing, has been convicted of theft of motor vehicle. He was sentenced the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud for 23 months, with a stay of three years. He was ordered to pay $85 in fees.

May 20

Daniel Ira Jauhola, of Ely, has been convicted of first-degree damage to property. He was sentenced to the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud for 24 months. He was ordered to pay $4,826.69 in fees.

May 23

Michael Thomas Fink, of Chisholm, has been convicted of terroristic threats. He was sentenced to the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud for 18 months, with a stay of three years. He was ordered to pay $135 in fees.

Fink was also convicted of threats of violence and sentenced to the facility in St. Cloud for 21 months, with a stay of three years. He was ordered to pay an additional $135 in fees.

William Chad Magness, of Kelly Lake, has been convicted of domestic assault. He was sentenced to the Minnesota Correctional Facility in St. Cloud for 27 months, with a stay of three years. He was ordered to pay $135 in fees.

May 30

Bradley Noel Callender, of Hibbing, has been convicted of violation of domestic abuse no-contact order. He served three days in the local jail and was sentenced to three years of supervised probation. He was ordered to pay $135 in fees.
