• Sean A. Peak, 48, of Hibbing, convicted of misdemeanor giving a false name to a peace officer on May 2, 2018. Sentenced by Judge Mark M. Starr to 90 days jail stayed, one year probation with conditions including seven days jail, $395 in fines, no same or similar violations, remain law-abiding, no alcohol or controlled substance use, no mood-altering chemicals, no possession of drugs or alcohol unless prescribed by a medical doctor, random testing for drugs and alcohol upon request and pay for said test, submit to random searches, do not enter bars or liquor stores/establishments, report to agent as directed and follow all instructions of probation.

Starr to 90 days jail stayed, one year probation with conditions including seven days jail, no same or similar violations, remain law-abiding, no alcohol or controlled substance use, no mood-altering chemicals, no possession of drugs or alcohol unless prescribed by a medical doctor, random testing for drugs and alcohol upon request and pay for said test, submit to random searches, do not enter bars or liquor stores/establishments, report to agent as directed and follow all instructions of probation. Sentenced to be served concurrently with other charges.

• Joseph L. Wilson, 27, of Virginia, convicted of gross misdemeanor fifth degree drug possession on May 7, 2018. Sentenced by Judge Mark M. Starr to one year jail stayed, two years probation with conditions including 57 days jail, $135 in fines, do not use or possess firearms, ammunition or explosives; follow all instructions of probation; chemical dependency evaluation and treatment; follow recommendations of evaluation of the chemical dependency evaluation and previously complete diagnostic assessment; no alcohol or controlled substance use with the exception of prescribed medications; no mood-altering chemicals; no possession of drugs or alcohol; do not enter bars or liquor stores/establishments; attend Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous; no driver’s license violations; no driving without insurance; remain law-abiding; and no same or similar violations.

DUI/DWI Convictions

• Cornell C. Cockerham, 36, of Hibbing, convicted of gross misdemeanor third degree DWI/.08 or more within two hours of driving on May 7, 2018. Sentenced by Judge Mark M. Starr to one year jail stayed, two years probation with conditions including 23 days jail, $165 in fines, chemical dependency evaluation and treatment, follow recommendations of evaluation, no alcohol or controlled substance use, no mood-altering chemicals, cooperate with search of your person, residence, vehicle, workplace, property and things are directed by probation officer; no drinking and driving; no driver’s license violations; no driving without insurance; victim impact panel; remain law-abiding; no same or similar violations; follow all instructions of probation; report to agent as directed; no possession of drugs or alcohol unless prescribed by a medical doctor; random testing for drugs and alcohol upon request and pay for said test; and do not enter bars or liquor stores/establishments.

• John A Greer, 29, of Hibbing, convicted of misdemeanor DWI/.08 or more within two hours of driving on May 7, 2018. Sentenced by Judge Mark M. Starr to 90 days jail stayed, one year probation with conditions including one day jail, $610 in fines, no same or similar violations, remain law-abiding, chemical dependency evaluation and treatment, follow recommendations of evaluation, submit to random searches, do not enter bars or liquor stores/establishments, victim impact panel, no possession of drugs or alcohol unless prescribed by a medical doctor, no alcohol or controlled substance use, no mood-altering chemicals, no drinking and driving, no driver’s license violations, no driving without insurance, follow all instructions of probation and report to agent as directed.
