I am writing to encourage you to vote for Judge Lucinda Jesson for the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
Often, the election of our judges does not get as much attention as other positions and I encourage readers to take a look at the judges up for reelection this November.
Judge Jesson has the skills and experience that make her an excellent judge. Her broad base of experience as past commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Human Service, deputy attorney general for the State of Minnesota and deputy Hennepin County attorney make her an asset to the court as it wrestles with the many tough decisions that rise up through our judicial system.
Further, Judge Jesson has been a supporter and advocate for the Iron Range. When asked to choose what part of Minnesota she wanted to serve as a court liaison to, she chose the Northland and Iron Range.
As a liaison to our judicial district, she networks with our local attorneys and frequently attends our bar association meetings. Judge Jesson updates our local attorneys on the work of the Court of Appeals and serves as a resource on the access to justice needs of our region.
In particular, she has been a local supporter of our local Volunteer Attorney’s Program attending and participating in its fundraisers.
Please support and vote for Judge Lucinda Jesson to continue her service on the Minnesota Court of Appeals.
