John Myers’ timely April 1 article “History uncovered in the woods” prompted me to caution landowners who own property adjacent to governments and major landowners (USFS, DNR, etc.), which have done their own surveys after the original U.S. Government Land Office surveys in the late 1800s.

The article in the Sunday, May 28, edition of the Hibbing Daily Tribune about the Ongaro men who taught at Hibbing Community College for 60 years is a superb example of what makes Hibbing special.

The HDT article “Terminated administrator to return to HHS” (Friday, March 6) has informed us that once Jac Fleming returns to Hibbing High School (HHS), his duties will include: truancy, general site supervision, testing, home school, the alternative learning program (ALP) and curriculum.
