Kudos to everyone who donated to, volunteered and picked up food for the United States Postal Service Food Drive. Thank you to the USPS for coordinating and participating in this drive. Over 6,500 pounds of food was collected along with cash donations. All proceeds went to The Hibbing Salvation Army Food Shelf program. The food collected will help many clients in our community. Thank you to all the generous people who donated and collected food but most of all to the US Postal Service.
Kudos to all those that made our North Hibbing Field Trip possible. Thank you to the parents, grandparents and friends that volunteered their time. Also to our presenters, Linda Suihkonen, Ann Schnortz, Mr. Niemi and Mr. Lee of the MN DNR-Land and Minerals. Thank you to Hibbing Park and Recreation, Hibbing Historical Society, the Greenhaven PTO and Porta John. The children enjoyed this interactive and educational trip down the streets of Old North Hibbing. Thank you to all, we could not have done this without you.
