Kudos to the saying: “Like wildflowers; you must allow yourself to grow in all the places people never thought you would.” And, the best way to predict the future is to create it. Be your unique self and flourish. That is what we are here to do. Be ourselves. (Submitted by Jeanine Fox)
Kudos to everyone who helped to make the Alpha Delta Kappa Craft Sale on November 3rd a huge success. The vendors are especially appreciated. It was so good of the Hibbing High School Key Club to help ADK members and relatives with the physical work of setting up and taking down. The Hibbing National Guard Armory personnel, especially Marcus, were very accommodating and helpful. The Hibbing Daily Tribune, The Chisholm Free Press, Manny Shopper, and Hometown Focus did a marvelous job to help with publicity. Having the program on HPAT with Patty Miller was wonderful and Ron Wirkkula even came to tape vendors and shoppers. Thanks also to the many patrons who support this sale every year. All of these people helped us to raise about $3,500 to support students, teachers and schools with scholarships and grants. This is a community effort that we hope to continue.
