Frank T. Yuretich, 76, of Hibbing, died Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at Essentia Health St. Mary’s in Duluth.
He was born Oct. 25, 1942, in Chisholm to John Sr. and Sophie (Micensky) Yuretich and was a lifelong Hibbing resident. He was a U.S. Army veteran in Vietnam and later worked as an automobile technician for John’s Autobody and Hibbing Chrysler. Frank was united in marriage on May 16, 1987, in Hibbing to Kathleen L. McCracken. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing and his favorite dogs.
Frank is survived by his wife, Kathy; children: Robert (Dani), Brian (Kim), Christine (Tom) Petersen; stepdaughter, DeDe (Brett) Weiner; grandchildren: Maddison, Robby, Michael, Sophie, Tyler and Alaina; siblings: Mary Rowe, Theresa Leavitt, Cathy Zalec, Tony Yuretich; numerous nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Margaret, Fran, John, Judy; and a nephew, Timothy Rowe.
Funeral: A memorial gathering will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, June 20, at Rupp Funeral Home & Cremation Service Chapel, Chisholm.
Burial: Inurnment will be in Chisholm Cemetery.
