MOUNTAIN IRON — Former councilor Ed Roskoski came up short in his return to politics Tuesday in Mountain Iron.

Incumbent Alan Stanaway came out on top with 965 votes, while incumbent Joe Prebeg also returned for another four-year term with 920 votes. Roskoski finished with 800 votes.

Mayor Gary Skalko ran unopposed and received 1,340 votes.

For Mountain Iron-Buhl School Board, Jeff Holmes, Jeremy Jesch and write-in candidate Michelle Anderson each won spots on the board. Holmes got 1,833 votes and Jesch had 1,679.
