DULUTH — Amanda Sue Schwartz and Robert Franklyn Johnson were united in marriage on May 31, 2014, at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary in Duluth. The Rev. Peter Muhich officiated the ceremony.
Amanda is the daughter of Mike and Sue Schwartz of Hibbing. She is the granddaughter of Dorothy and the late Jim Plese, and the late George Schwartz, all of Hibbing.
She is a 2007 graduate of Hibbing High School. She attended The College of St. Scholastica, earning a bachelor’s degree in health science in 2011 and a doctorate degree in physical therapy in 2013. She is employed as a physical therapist at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth.
Robert is the son of David and Diana Johnson of Esko. He is the grandson of Frank and Darlene Johnson of Duluth, Bob (and the late Judy) Davis and Marilyn Vig of Rice Lake, Wis.
He is a 2007 graduate of Esko High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from The College of St. Scholastica in 2011 and will complete a doctor of pharmacy degree in 2015 from the University of Minnesota, Duluth.
The couple resides in Hermantown.
