HIBBING — Cristina Myers and Travis Griffiths were united in marriage in a midnight ceremony on Dec. 31, 2013, in Hibbing. Officiating the New Year’s Eve ceremony was Justin McMartin.
Cristina is the daughter of Gary and Vicki Myers of Hibbing.
Travis is the son of Robert and Sherie Griffiths of Hibbing.
Bridal attendants were matron of honor, Steph (Myers) Senich, Sister of the bride; maid of honor, Jenny Gay, friend of the bride, and Kari (Winter) McMartin, Jen (Rask) Lueder, Kirstin Nephew, and Carissa Brownlee, all friends of the bride.
Tyler Kozumplik, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Adam Warwas, friend of the groom; Billy Dannis, friend of the groom; Chris Maki, cousin of the groom; Ryan Maki, cousin of the groom, and groomswoman, Laura Griffiths, sister of the groom.
Prior to the ceremony, a dinner and dance were held at the Elks Androy Hotel in Hibbing.
Cristina is a 2003 graduate of Hibbing High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in school and community health education from Winona State University in 2007. She is employed as the executive director of Chisholm KIDS PLUS.
Travis is a 2004 graduate of Cherry High School. Travis is a United States Marine Corps Combat Veteran who served as an infantry machine gunner in Ramadi, Iraq. He currently works in operations at Hibbing Taconite.
The couple resides in Balkan.
