DULUTH — Cassandra Marie Joenks and Brendan Thomas Husmann were united in marriage on Sept. 12, 2015, at Lincoln Park in Duluth. Andrew Joenks officiated the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.
Parents of the couple are JoEl (Frick) Joenks and William Joenks Jr. of Owatonna, Minn., and Alan Husmann and Lynn Husmann of Hibbing.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Maid of honor was Katie Joenks of Owatonna. Bridesmaids were Kate Joenks of Owatonna, Kiersten Apel of Keewatin, Kaitlyn Kochevar and Vanessa Johnson, both of Hibbing, and Carissa Guse of Fridley, Minn. Flower girls were Jayden Marie and Marlei Lynn, both of Chisholm.
Best man was Eric Johnson of Hibbing. Groomsmen were Tim Juntunen of Albert Lea, Minn., and Michael Splett, Kyle Jacobson, Kenny Husmann and Justin Schrombeck, all of Hibbing. Ushers were Derek Cohoe and Andrew Strelow.
A reception was held at American Legion Post 71 in West Duluth. Entertainment was provided by R&D Music Express.
Cassandra graduated with an associate of applied science degree in law enforcement from Hibbing Community College, and is pursuing a bachelor of science in criminal justice with an emphasis in juvenile justice.
Brendan is the assistant store manager for SuperOne Foods South in Virginia.
The couple resides in Chisholm.
