Late winter storm falls short of spectacular

Schools were closed across the Northland on March 16, 2016, in anticipation of a huge winter storm which was forecast to dump up to 12 inches of snow on the Iron Range. While the area did get some dicey weather, overall, it did not live up to the hype.
